They can be launched from the Start menu or from the command line. The x86 and 圆4 versions of DTSWizard.exe are located in the same folders as DTExec.exe (above). Know that there are two different wizards that can be used with the SSIS engine to move data. When you install SQL Server SSIS on a 圆4 machine, you actually get two different versions off DTExec.exe installed. I thought I’d take this opportunity to help you determine when you should or if are already running in either environment. As well, you may inadvertently be running your packages in x86 mode without realizing it. However, there are situations when running our SSIS packages in 32-bit (x86) mode is still required. Today, most desktop machines and servers are already running 64-bit (圆4) operating systems on 圆4 platforms.
